The Mission

Hindsight is Always 20/20

So for our very final assignment, we were asked to give advice for future students. Professor Bond does send out an e-mail before the semester starts warning about the amount of work and time required for the course. Definitely take that e-mail to heart, he's serious! The work itself is not that hard and its actually fun to do, its just very time consuming. If you have a heavy schedule or work a lot or anything like that, this may not be the class for you. Also, when given the option to work in groups, always do it! Its more fun that way and you will end up learning from…

The End

It all started one dark and stormy night. [audio wav="http://krazydoglady.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/360328__inspectorj__thunder-very-close-rain-a.wav"][/audio] I was at home, minding my own business and enjoying a well-earned vacation when I go the call I had been waiting for. [audio wav="http://krazydoglady.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/344365__jourblue__cellphone-ringing.wav"][/audio] It was the boss. "It's go time" he said. "You need to be in Canada in 24 hours". I knew this was it, the moment of truth. All of our agents' spy work and missions would come down to this one mission. Russia and Canada have been plotting against us and the time had finally come to take them down. I had already had a plan in mind. The NHL Stanley Cup playoffs were happening…

Final Mission Update

Well the time has come. We all know Canada and Russia have been conspiring against us all along. President Trump was planted specifically for this purpose. He can try to deny his Russian contacts all he wants but we know the truth. It all goes down next week. The Washington Capitals are in Toronto for the Stanley Cup playoffs and thats where Agent A will make her move. She'll start off by making them think nothing is wrong. Maybe even post a video of herself watching the game from home. Just when she has them thinking they safe, she'll pounce! Agent A has heard rumors that one of our own…

This week all of the agents had to create Twitter polls based on the other agents characters and then participate in the polls created by others. Even though the class uses Twitter a lot, I'm still very new to it and don't really know how it works so this was kind've hard for me. Luckily the polls themselves are pretty easy to create. Having the creativity to make a good one is another story. I decided to use Agent Smith as my inspiration. His bio says one of his achievements is never being detected by the enemy so I asked the class what he would do if he was detected.…

The Week in Review

I started off by brainstorming ideas for a mission that the class could participate in. I wasn't able to think of much but you can find my idea here. Next, 12 stars worth of video assignments. At least 6 of these stars had to involve my character for class: Moving Object assignment-3.5 stars- She's on the Move Sixteen Year Old Me assignment- 4.5 stars - Dear Me My Favorite Thing to Do assignment- 4 stars - What's Free Time? And finally, 3 TDCs: https://twitter.com/k_heflin/status/850083459674644481 https://twitter.com/k_heflin/status/850082891963015173 https://twitter.com/k_heflin/status/850535391144943616

Dear Me….

For this assignment, I had to create a video of me speaking to my 16 year old self. This was actually a meaningful assignment for me. 16 was a big year for me and really stands out because its the year I lost my grandmother. In my video, I give my younger self a lot of advice, mainly involving the future and decisions I wish I could change. The best advice I could give me though, is to spend as much time as possible with my grandmother and let her know how much I appreciate her and love her. 11 years later and I still find myself dialing her number…

She’s on the Move!

For this assignment, we had to create a Vine of an object moving. Since Vine no longer exists, I took the creative liberty of using SnapChat instead. I thought a video of an inanimate object moving is pretty dull so I decided to take a short clip of Agent A on the way to her next mission. She even has her super special secret agent gear on! You can't tell from the video but the flaps on her hat can actually act as propellers to get her out of any sticky situations she might come across! https://youtu.be/i3Iwd3vLVYE

What’s Free Time?

For this assignment, I had to video myself (or Agent A in this case) doing something they like to do in my downtime. In this case, Agent A is enjoying her favorite treat, a bully stick. I made a short clip with an introduction and of myself handing her the bully stick and then recorded her chewing it, even with a few close ups! Agent A doesn't get a lot of downtime from her job as a secret agent but when she does, the bully stick is her go to treat of choice! Its her way of relaxing, similar to a human grabbing a beer when they get home from…
